We had a great day with Talent , our tour guide. Wonderful experience and very educational. Great way to start the trip to SA as he taught us a lot of history and geography.

We joined the group tour for table mountain, boulder beach penguins and cape point/cape of good hope. The itinerary seems very exciting. But there were some hiccups on the day. Firstly, the pickup took a very long time despite only having 5 stops (1 hour starting at 720am). When the tour started, we were briefed on the itinerary for the day. Everyone was extremely excited. However, after table mountain, we were told that because of a road closure every Wednesday from 10am, the scenic Chapman’s peak drive was cancelled. A lot of our tour group was very disappointed as this was not told upfront. If not we may have wanted to have a peep of this road prior to table mountain even. Wilson was a great guide/driver. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone. Including stopping in the city for someone to exchange money, stopping by the ATM etc. He allowed us to spend quite a bit of time at each attraction. But in that lies the fact that sometimes we didn’t know when to gather back again and wasted quite a bit of time waiting. Wilson also gave interesting commentaries throughout. The places we visited was really nice. Table mountain, the penguins and the cape of good hope were all famous attractions for a reason. And really worth seeing. Wilson surprised us by dropping by the ostrich farm and got us food to feed. One big downside of the tour is the issue of purchasing tickets prior. I think this should be changed or made more aware. We knew about having to purchase our tickets ahead of time as we read from other reviews and proactively seek the links to buy the tickets. Most of the group did not pre-purchase the tickets and our group ended up splitting at times. What was worse is at the cape of good hope, you can purchase the tickets only once meaning someone from the group had to volunteer to purchase the ticket and everyone else had to then withdraw money to pay him back. I think this could have been avoided with prior warning. Everyone should just pre-buy all your tickets. The company should inform people much ahead of time because it is difficult to do all these whilst traveling with minimal wifi and printing facilities. Most people only know the day before or not even. Other than that, it was an enjoyable day!

Tour with Beyond Africa Safaris - Tale (guide) and Ishmael (driver) began promptly at designated time. Tale was energetic and informative, providing significant insight into the history of Cape Town and South Africa. We maintained the timeline and covered every stop and drive by listed on the Viator page. NOTE: Entrance fees to Seal Island, Table Mountain Funicular and Boulders beach are not included. Tale had a group ticket for Boulders Beach and stated there were technical problems for a credit card payment and directed me to the green ATM at Boulders Beach to get cash for reimbursement to him. Unfortunately there were two men who were trying to scam and take money while I was trying to withdraw funds. Although this was disappointing and made me lose trust, I made the best of it and caution you to be aware of your surroundings and take your guide or someone you trust with you when withdrawing currency at ATMS. Thank you Ishmael for getting us around safely and thank you to Tale for all your insight about the area.

Did the Table Mountain, Boulder’s Beach penguins and Cape Point day trip with David yesterday and it was a fantastic day. We covered so much in one day. A great option for those who want to make the most of a short time in Cape Town. We were lucky enough to see some wildlife too, which was an added bonus to an already terrific day.

We absolutely loved our full-day private tour with Ruben. Worth every penny to be able to go at our own pace with a local expert. It truly felt we were always just ahead of any crowds as Ruben timed everything so perfectly. He was knowledgeable, friendly and enjoyable to spend the day with. Bonus: he took pictures for us throughout the day. We greatly appreciated the lunch booking he made at Two Oceans overlooking the water near Cape of Good Hope. Highly recommend this tour.
